What Shoes for Autumn/Winter 2011/2012?

As the season changes, it’s time for a change of shoes. Most
of us will be pushing our sandals, peep toes and canvas shoes to the back of
the wardrobe to make room for a range of new season styles to complement our
cosy knits and winter coats.

We loved the exciting and colourful platforms that added a
touch of fun to summer and whilst this style trend will also be key for
Autumn/Winter we’ll be seeing more neutral colours as most of us tend to opt
for darker colours at this time of year. Brown, beige, tan, stone, burgundy and
of course black will be the main colours in trend.

Look out for chunky heels, which are great for stability and
comfort. Spike heels will also be fashionable and whilst arguably not as
comfortable as the chunky heel, the stiletto will always be a sexy and stylish
choice. Both round toes and pointy pike toes will both be popular so you can
still wear your favourite shape and remain fashionable this season.
